BLM Red wins Swiss watch brief

BLM Red, the luxury brands division of Arena BLM, has won the media planning and buying account for Swiss watchmaker Time Products.

It won the account, which includes Sekonda, Audemars and Frank Muller brands, following a pitch against incumbent Carat.

The agency will mostly handle press campaigns and in-store work.

BLM Red has also scooped the UK media planning and buying business for Victorinox, the ‘original’ Swiss army knife brand, following a pitch against M2M and Rocket. The two pieces of business are worth about £1m.

There was no incumbent on the Victorinox business and the appointment precedes the launch of a flagship London store in New Bond Street in September.

The 124-year-old brand is understood to be keen to raise its profile ahead of the store launch, which will see it expand into the clothing and accessories sectors.
