Euro RSCG makes global promotions in wake of Chivas Regal win

Havas-owned Euro RSCG Worldwide has made two key global promotions following its win of the Chivas Regal business. It has created the new position of global chief marketing officer and appointed Daniel Floyed to the role of global brand director for Chivas.

Matthew Ryan will move from sister agency Arnold Worldwide in the US, where he was executive vice president, executive director, to take on the role of Euro’s global chief marketing officer. The position has been restructured from when Floyed occupied it as global new business director.

Ryan will report directly to Euro global chief executive, David Jones.

Floyed who is currently based out of Euro’s New York head office will move to London to oversee the Chivas account.

The agency won the Chivas after the brand recently ended its 14-year relationship with TBWA (MW.co.uk, May 12).

“Daniel’s expertise with luxury brands and multinational experience makes him the perfect person to lead Chivas for us globally,” says Jones.

The changes are with immediate effect.
