Sportingbet’s Euro 2008 goal

Sportingbet%20websiteSportingbet is launching an online campaign this month to capitalise on this summer’s UEFA Euro 2008 tournament. The campaign, which has been created by integrated agency Lida, includes a new microsite where registered players will get the chance to win €1m (£795,000) by predicting the results of games.

It will be supported by e-mails to existing customers and affiliate banner advertising to attract new users to the site.

During the tournament, Sportingbet will launch a game called Goldenbet, offering people the chance to win €50,000 (£39,750) in daily prizes.

Lida chief executive Lisa Thomas says/ “Euro 2008 is a great opportunity to build relationships with existing customers. Our campaign is part of a wider objective to make Sportingbet as customer-focused as possible.”
