Hotel Reservation Service, the hotel booking website, has appointed Rocket and Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw ahead of a marketing push to leisure travellers.
This is the first time the Germany-based company has taken on retained agencies. Rocket pitched against Mediaedge:cia to win the account, while Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw was awarded the business after a shoot-out against WDMP.
Bastiaan Ellen, HRS UK marketing director, says it has appointed the new agencies to start its push into the leisure market.
Ellen adds: “The online travel leisure market in the UK is very competitive but offers great opportunities. We will work to take advantage of this with our strong agency partners.”
Ellen says it will initially focus on digital marketing activity, including online display advertising, paid search and it will also work with affiliate and partner websites.
