TradeDoubler appoints UK managing director

TradeDoubler appointed Vizeum managing partner Ben Wood as UK managing director. He will take over the role from Jim Brigden, who was head of Tradedoubler and The Search Works, but will now focus on the latter.

TradeDoubler appointed Vizeum managing partner Ben Wood as UK managing director. He will take over the role from Jim Brigden, who was head of Tradedoubler and The Search Works, but will now focus on the latter.

Wood, who take join in early September, will be responsible for broadening TradeDoubler digital performance-based offering in the UK, including ad networks and pay-per-call products.

He joins TradeDoubler from Aegis Media UK, where he has been since 2005 as joint managing director of Carat Digital before becoming managing partner at Vizeum in January last year.

The company has also appointed Lara Kelly as client services director, which is a new role. She joins from News International, where she has been head of e-Commerce since June 2007. Prior to that, Kelly spent five years managing the online retail and travel strategy and client relationships for the Orange Portal. She will take over the management of TradeDoubler’s 37-strong UK client services team and will focus on developing TradeDoubler’s consultancy offering.
