Five appoints digital roster ahead of online launches

Five, the RTL-owned broadcaster, has created a digital agency roster ahead of a year-long revamp of its online businesses. The move follows the appointment of Made By Many as its lead strategic agency last year.

Agency.com, which worked with Five on the development of video-on-demand service Demand Five, Taglab and LIDA have been appointed to handle digital advertising. Thoughtworks, ibuildings and New Bamboo join the roster as development partners, and Not Only But Also and Redbee as full service agencies.

The broadcaster says Made By Many, which helped select the agencies, will continue to work on development and implementation of its digital strategy.

Five.tv digital controller Chris Kerwin says the agencies have been appointed for 12 months. He says work will be awarded to all agencies on the shortlist over the year.
