The Number 118 118 is launching a London taxi campaign across London to promote its new “ask anything” service. Passengers using the branded taxis will be allowed to ask any question free of charge.
The campaign, which will break next week, aims to show the company’s evolution from solely directory enquiries to a general knowledge service. It has been available through text since May, but has now been extended to telephone enquires.
Passengers will be given the opportunity to push a green button on specially designed phones inside the vehicles and will be able to ask 118 118 any question free of charge. The campaign will run across Clear Channel’s Taxi Media, and has been planned by OMD and Posterscope.
