Pigsback.com launches high-street loyalty scheme

Pigsback.com, the online scheme that give users points for interacting with ads, is moving onto the high street with the launch of a new loyalty programme. Users will be able to redeem points in retailers such as Superdrug, Cineword and Halfords.

The scheme, which is being launched with loyalty management company Reward, will be open to Pigsback.com’s 650,000 users and will tie in with their online accounts. Users can register their existing PiggyPoints cards to earn points at high street stores.

Jo Malvern, group brand director of Pigsback.com, says: “Online shopping continues to grow year on year, but we can’t forget the high street. Traditional retailers still take a massive slice of consumer spending and our recent research showed that consumers remain passionate about saving through the high street.”

Pigsback.com launched in Ireland in 2000 and in the UK in 2005. It currently works with brands including L’Oreal, BSkyB, Tesco, Simple, Typhoo and Virgin Holidays.
