Digital Marketing Group sees profit soar by 100%

Digital Marketing Group, the digital group led by Ben Langdon, has reported a 100% increase in pre-tax profit to £2.15m. The results for the year ended March 31 also saw the group’s revenue rise 290% to £50.97m.

The digital direct marketing group says that it has exceeded market expectations. Stephen Davidson, DMG chairman, says it has performed strongly “through new business and the integration of our products and services”.

Langdonm DMG chief executive, adds: “Operating profit to cash conversion is over 100% and with no net debt we are in a very strong financial position.”

The group, which was formed in 2006, owns online marketing and media agencies including Graphico and Inbox; data services and consultancy Jaywing; and direct marketing agencies HSM and Dig for Fire.

Davidson adds: “The acquisitions of Graphico and Hyperlaunch at the end of June 2007 added important digital skills to our group. Graphico has strong credentials in web design and build, and mobile marketing.

“Hyperlaunch has significant online PR and buzz marketing expertise. Both businesses have been successfully integrated into our group and have exceeded expectations in terms of their financial performance.”
