Save the Children on look-out for DM agency

Save the Children is looking for a direct marketing agency. It is understood the children’s charity is already in talks with a number of agencies with a view to pitching for the account.

It has worked with a number of agencies in the past, including Partners Andrews Aldridge and TDA. It is not known if its relationships with the agencies will be affected by the pitch.

The charity launched its first integrated advertising campaign in February this year (MW.co.uk February 11), which it said was the biggest campaign in its 90-year history. The three-year campaign launched with a TV ad and featured a voiceover from This is England child star Tom Turgoose. It was created by Weiden + Kennedy.

Save the Children campaigns and raises funds to protect children’s rights to proper healthcare, food, education and protection. It aims to prevent child exploitation, neglect and suffering in countries across the globe.
