David Lloyd (pictured), the programme and marketing director at Virgin Radio, and Andy Grumbridge, digital director, are leaving the station as part of a management restructure. It comes just weeks after the station was bought by Times of India subsidiary TIML Golden Square.

The station is merging its marketing and digital departments and is now seeking a brand director to head the division. The programming role will be taken over by Clive Dickens, who will also become chief operating officer. Dickens is also the founder of Absolute Radio, which is running the station for TIML.

Dickens says: “This reorganisation is driven by the changing needs of the station as we execute an exciting and dynamic strategy for the business.”

Lloyd joined the station as programme director last December during the acquisition process. His role was later extended to include marketing following the departure of David Andrews, who left to join GCap Media. Lloyd is the former managing director of Global Radio-owned speech station LBC.

Grumbridge joined the station a year ago from Channel 4, where he was head of new media.
