Renault launches high-definition Koleos outdoor campaign

Renault is launching a high-definition outdoor campaign to promote its new 4×4 crossover vehicle, the Renault Koleos. The campaign launches today (July 14).

The two-week outdoor campaign, which runs alongside TV, cinema, print and online, will run on JCDecaux’s new high-definition poster formats – an alternative to paper and paste 48-sheets and 96-sheets. The space was planned and booked by Carat and poster specialist Posterscope.

It is the first time that a campaign has run over both high-definition formats and it is hoped that it will appeal to men out enjoying their leisure time.

Carat comms planning and associate director, Steve Hadfield, says the outdoor presence is essential to accompany its TV campaigns so awareness of the new model launch can rise to optimum levels.

JCDecaux aims to replace all of its paper and paste billboards with high-definition over the next few years. The glueless posters are made from polyethylene and are 100% recyclable.
