Joules appoints Equi=Media to boost online sales

Equi=Media, the digital and direct media agency, has been appointed by retailer Joules to develop a digital search strategy and boost online sales. The agency won the business after a competitive pitch against undisclosed agencies.

The agency is developing a paid-for search strategy that aims to drive online sales and “high quality leads” to the website. The activity will be refreshed on an ongoing basis to ensure the strategy remains cost-efficient and can be changed rapidly to take on emerging search trends.

Chris Bevan, e-commerce manager at Joules, says: “As a business we’re always looking for new ways to improve lead generation and the internet gives us a clear opportunity to reach more people.”

Joules, which was launched in 1980, sells men, women and childrenswear and accessories. It has more than ten stores in the UK and concessions in Harrods and Fenwick. It also makes a range of equestrian clothing.
