Mirror.co.uk redesigns homepage

mirror.co.ukMirror Group has relaunched its website Mirror.co.uk, with the aim of offering users with greater interactivity. It plans to roll-out further changes over the coming weeks.

The first part of the redesign went live last night (July 22), launching with a new homepage. The publisher says the format will potentially provide advertisers with greater creative flexibility.

The site has also increased its number of blogs and introduced a new ratings system allowing users to pick their favourite stories and allowing the publisher to track the most popular articles viewed and forwarded by users.

The redesign comes just months after the site joined the Audit Bureau of Circulations Electronic report. Its last audited number of unique users for May was over 4.8 million, an increase of 12.9% from the previous month.

The changes come just a week after Telegraph Media Group unveiled changes to its site Telegraph.co.uk, which has initially involved a redesign of its news, business and sports sections. More changes are also expected to be rolled out over next year.
