Cussons plans new ranges across its brand portfolio

PZ Cussons, the personal care company, is poised to launch a raft of new products across its brand portfolio this autumn. One key launch is a range of men’s products under its personal wash brand, Original Source.

Hair care line Charles Worthington will also introduce a new range of products, and handwash brand Carex will undergo a revamp next month.

Original Source will introduce a seven-strong men’s range including hair and body washes in three fragrances. The line will be phased in across supermarkets this autumn. The launch will be supported by a marketing campaign created by TBWAManchester.

Cussons’ hair care line Charles Worthington will be extended with a range called Time Defy. The company promises fresh innovation with the range, which is set for launch in September.

It is understood the company also plans to develop a facial skin care line under its premium brand The Sanctuary, which it purchased in January for £75m. The Sanc-tuary’s core range, Spa Essentials, will also introduce brand extensions to its personal wash products this autumn.

Imperial Leather, Cussons’ largest brand, unveiled a new look last month and a number of new fragrances. It also launched a new range called Imperial Leather Skin Bliss. The range features new technology, which the company claims will moisturise skin and cleanse without stripping natural oils.
