Former Publicis London chief executive Grant Duncan is joining search consultant Spencer Stuart to lead its UK Media Practice. He most recently worked at Gay Haines’ recruitment agency Grace Blue.
Joining Spencer Stuart’s London office, Duncan begins his new role as head of media practice including broadcast, publishing, technology and advertising and media.
Duncan quit Grace Blue in May 2008 after a year for personal reasons. He had joined the consultancy to focus on advising private equity companies on potential acquisitions and mergers in the industry.
Duncan resigned as Publicis chief executive early last year after an eight-year stint at the agency.
“With a formidable knowledge of the advertising, marketing services and new media sectors, Grant will make an excellent addition to our team,” says Mark Stroyan, managing director of Spencer Stuart UK.
