H Samuel aids breast cancer charity

H Samuel, part of the Signet Group, has entered a partnership with Breakthrough Breast Cancer as part an awareness campaign, which will launch in October.

The high street fashion jeweller will raise funds to help Breakthrough’s research, campaigning and education work.

H Samuel stores will be stocking the charity’s pink ribbon pins and phone charms in addition to employees taking part in in-store fundraising activities. A Signet spokesperson says: “We will gain by raising awareness of our products by supporting a charity that fits with the brand.”

H Samuel will donate 10% of the price of 17 products during the month-long campaign, including a specially commissioned Evoke pink crystal heart necklace.

The retailer and charity have been working together for the past seven months to develop the campaign and are hoping that it will become an ongoing partnership. Breakthrough Breast Cancer has a number of successful partnerships with companies including Marks & Spencer, Avon and Adidas.
