Yell.com launches first TV work

Yell, the directory company, is launching its first TV advert for its online service, Yell.com. The campaign, which breaks tomorrow (August 20), aims to highlight the “breadth and depth” of the service.

The ads, created by Mother, are based around the experience of a party planner and his long-suffering assistant. The campaign will include a series of executions that follow preparations for a party for a Surrey schoolboy.

The first execution will break in the half time ad break of the England and Czech Republic football match on Setanta Sport. The campaign will also include radio sponsorship, video-on-demand and online. It will run until March next year.

Yell’s “walking fingers” and individual product logos have also been refreshed to coincide with the launch of the TV ads.
