Twinings has appointed Abbott Mead Vickers.BBDO, WCRS and Adam & Eve to handle its advertising. It is understood to come ahead of a major boost in ad spend by the hot beverages company from £3m to about £12m.
The company has appointed Adam & Eve to handle Twinings Everyday, which is being relaunched; WCRS to handle Ovaltine and Options; and AMV.BBDO to handle speciality tea, green tea and infusions.
The pitch was called in April, ending its two-and-a-half-year relationship with Lowe London. The agency declined to repitch for the business.
