Vimto Soft Drinks has appointed Neil Gibson as head of marketing. He has joined from Fox’s Biscuits where he was marketing manager.
Gibson will report to managing director Jonathan Bye and will be responsible for brand management, consumer and category insight and new product development.
He will also oversee the next phase in the development of its flagship Vimto brand, which is undergoing a strategic review.
The drinks company is looking to develop a new creative strategy for 2009 in a bid to improve its communication for the Vimto brand beyond its centenary year.
Bye says: “This appointment is absolutely key for the brand as we prepare for a new and exciting stage in its development.”
