Jobsite appoints MediaVest to 15m media account

MediaVest has been appointed to handle the 15m media planning and buying business for recruitment website, Jobsite. The Publicis Groupe-owned agency was handed the business without a pitch.

Jobsite, which has 4.1m registered users, previously handled its media planning and buying in-house.

A new TV campaign, starring actor Max Beesley, is due to break on October 6 and will be supported by radio, print and online activity. The strategy has been developed by communications agency, Monkey.

Meanwhile, MediaVest Manchester has retained the £3m media planning and buying account for IT training company, Computech. It won the business after a three-way pitch against McCann Erickson Central and Brilliant Leeds.

Computech called the pitch as part of a move to centralise its media spend into one agency. MediaVest Manchester has been working on parts Computech’s business for more than three years.
