Private healthcare brand hands DHM 5m account

BMI Healthcare is understood to have moved its 5m advertising business out of WFCA into Dye Holloway Murray (DHM) without a pitch. The decision comes just six months after the healthcare brand appointed WFCA as its integrated agency.

P10_BMIThe Tunbridge Wells-based integrated agency will, however, continue to handle BMI Healthcare’s media planning and buying.

DHM is expected to relaunch the BMI Healthcare brand, as well as drive its revenues and occupancy rates. It follows the purchase of nine hospitals across England by the private healthcare brand earlier this year.

The agency, which was founded in 2007 by former Publicis trio Dave Dye, Jorian Murray and Justin Holloway, offers integrated advertising solutions and devises branding solutions “focusing on the culture of its clients”.

One of the first clients of the agency was the sports clothing label Howies. Its other clients include Smooth Radio, Regus, Strutt & Parker and Gaymers Cider. The agency was not available to comment on the appointment.

BMI is the UK’s largest provider of independent healthcare services, with about 47 acute-care hospitals across the nation. BMI Healthcare is a subsidiary of General Healthcare Group and handles more than 250,000 in-patient and 1 million out-patient visits each year. It also works with the NHS to provide operations under contract and private wings within the grounds of NHS Trust hospitals.
