Scottish Rugby launches tourism campaign

Scottish Rugby is launching a series of films comparing Scotland’s landscapes to the national team. The campaign, We are Scotland, has been created by north east agency Cravens.

It aims to attract tourists to Scotland by showing films of different parts of the country narrated by members of the rugby team and will be supported by a poster campaign.

The films aim to demonstrate how Scotland’s landscape, and elements such as water and the wind, define the attributes of both the national team and the nation.

The first film breaks this week and is based around the subject of “granite”, ahead of the Bank of Scotland Corporate Autumn Tests rugby event.

Scotland will play the first match against Canada in Aberdeen, the city known as the Granite City. The films will be available through the website www.scottishrugby.org.
