COI creates regional agency framework

COI is creating a dedicated regional agency roster under a new framework intended to make access to regional marketing specialists easier. The regional integrated agencies framework will span advertising, direct marketing, design and branding, digital and PR.

The move comes as COI, which works on behalf of government departments, says it is seeing increased demand for its services outside of London.

The new framework will be managed by COI’s regional client account team, which has offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and Manchester.

It is designed to save time by allowing COI to access the most appropriate agencies without going through a lengthy procurement process for every contract. Currently, the regional marketing teams draw upon existing COI frameworks and a preferred supplier list in each region.

Phil Fraser, head of COI’s regional client account team, says: “While COI’s existing frameworks include agencies drawn from across the UK, some clients would like to access agencies with unique insight into regional audiences.”
