Indigo O2 rises to the challenge

Archibald Ingall Stretton London has won the August Creative Showcase Award for its Fill The Indigo campaign for 02.

The agency created a viral music competition offering people the chance to win the Indigo 02, the arena’s smaller venue, for a night, if they could fill it. Entrants had to set up a guestlist on thinkyouarepopular.com and then use their social networking skills to recruit friends.

Tribal DDB was the first runner-up for its “In one take, on one tank” campaign for Volkswagen, which promoted the fuel efficiency of the Bluemotion Polo. It showed footage of a team driving from London to Geneva on a single tank of fuel, which was incorporated into a site enabling viewers to review statistics relating to CO2 output and fuel.

The second runner-up was CHI & Partners with The X Factor Challenge campaign for The Carphone Warehouse. Users can upload their own renditions of songs for the chance to have their performance appear in the ad break.
