The price comparison site is now reviewing its gospel choir and the U Gotta Switch strapline.

USwitch marketing director Steve Weller, says the company will be “slightly repositioning” by focusing on “what works well online” and is “in two minds” about keeping the choir.

MCBD created the gospel themed ads for the company and the strapline after winning the business in 2006 (MW April 27). The ads aimed to drive awareness of the brand and its specific switching products, such as utilities and financial services. The campaign, which launched in December 2006, featured members of the choir popping up in unusual places in a quest to convince consumers to consider switching.
