Figleaves.com, the online lingerie retailer, has appointed new advertising and media agencies ahead of a major relaunch of the brand.
Start Creative has won the website’s advertising and Trinity Communications has been awarded media planning and buying. Both appointments follow competitive pitches against undisclosed agencies, although it is not clear if there was an incumbent on either account.
Trinity has handed the media buying business to MJ Media, although the agency was not involved in the pitch.
The retailer says it has made a significant investment in its brand, with “ambitious plans” in place for the next three years.
Start Creative is developing a new identity for Figleaves.com aimed at positioning it as an “aspirational, high quality brand”, while Trinity has developed an integrated media strategy aimed at reinvigorating the brand and attracting new customersThe first phase of the marketing activity includes a pre-Christmas campaign that will launch at the end of the month. It will include press, outdoor, radio and online activity. Start Creative is also developing a new website.
Figleaves.com, which is operated by Figleaves Global Trading, has sites in the UK and US and has over 1 million customers. It sells underwear, swimwear, exercise wear, hosiery and nightwear to men and women.
