Jazz FM is launching an advertising campaign this week ahead of its return to the airwaves on October 6.
The ads have been created by WARL and feature an updated version of its chameleon icon and the strapline: “Listen in Colour”. The campaign includes press, outdoor and online advertising.
WARL was reappointed to handle the station’s relaunch after the agency worked on the business five years ago.
Jazz FM rebranded to Smooth Radio three years ago and has been brought back by the Local Radio Company under a licence deal with brand owner Guardian Media Group Radio. Jazz FM will be available on digital audio broadcasting and online.
LRC founder and chief executive Richard Wheatly says: “The chameleon is an integral part of the Jazz FM branding.”
