Maxus appoints Clark to chief global role

Group M chief executive of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Kelly Clark, is moving into the new position of global chief executive at WPP’s media agency network Maxus. He is expected to officially start next month.

Clark, who is currently in New York discussing his new role, was previously chief executive of Mindshare UK. He has confirmed he will now be based in New York.

Maxus has offices in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Its European offices include Hungary, Denmark, Norway and Germany. In the Asia Pacific it has a presence in China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, India, Thailand and Australia.

Maxus is one of WPP’s four media agency networks which are MediaCom, Mindshare and Mediaedge:cia.

Clark left Mindshare UK in 2005 to take up the position of Group M EMEA chief executive.
