Disney Channel UK and Character Options, the toy licensing company, are launching a pre-Christmas push behind the Hannah Montana range of products. It will encompass on-air and online marketing activity.
Character Options, the licensee of the Hannah Montana range, will have a series of sponsorship idents highlighting the products on the channel. The idents will rotate alongside airings of the children’s TV show on the Disney Channel.
Fans will also be invited to enter an online competition, where ten entrants will get the chance to win a set of the Hannah Montana range.
The three-week sponsorship campaign starts this month.
Disney Channel UK and Ireland general manager, Michael Cairns, says: “Disney Channel is the home of Hannah Montana and this sponsorship offers Character Options a great opportunity to speak directly to its audience.”
Hannah Montana first appeared on the Disney Channel in March 2006 and now reaches over one million children aged four to 15 a week.
