William Hill Bingo sponsors ITV game show

William Hill Bingo is sponsoring ITV’s new daily game show Spin Star. It is the bingo site’s first sponsorship deal and aims to promote the recently rebranded site.

The six-week deal starts tonight (November 10), when Spin Star launches on ITV1 at 3.30pm. The Las Vegas-style show is hosted by former Coronation Street actor Bradley Walsh (pictured).

To support the deal, William Hill Bingo will launch a free bingo game every day after the show.

A William Hill spokeswoman says the game show and bingo site appeal to a similar demographic. She says that idents will use the strapline “William Hill Bingo Thrill” and share the “community feel” of the rebranded website.

The sponsorship follows a month-long TV campaign in the summer and a second campaign, which focused on its support of Breast Cancer Care through its Pink Ribbon games. The activity supported the website’s redesign, which features improved functionality, new games and more visible promotions.
