BAA launches airport Christmas shopping site

BAA, the airport operator, is launching a Christmas ecommerce site featuring celebrities in a bid to cash in on seasonal shopping. The gift wish list portal is designed to help passengers “on the move” with their Christmas gift purchases.

Celebrities including Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly (pictured), Spooks actor Rupert Penry-Jones, fashion editor Kinvara Balfour and TV presenter Olly Smith provide gift tips on airportgiftlist.co.uk, offering suggestions on what to buy from the airport operator’s World Duty Free producs.

The online gift list has six sections such as For Him, For Her, For Kids, For Indulgence, For Foodies and For Gadget Lovers.

The online list will also feature personal lists from users and BAA’s “Christmas agony aunts”.
