Land Rover to sponsor Rough Guide To TV shows

Car marque Land Rover has announced a deal to sponsor the new series of Rough Guide To… on Five, the RTL-owned broadcaster. The deal, which starts on November 17, also includes a second series Rough Guide to Ultimate Escapes that will air next year.

The sponsorship includes credits produced by RKCR/Y&R, consisting of opening credits, break bumpers and closing credits. The deal will also include accreditation on related on-air promotional trailers and any repeats broadcast during the sponsorship period.

Lion TV is also producing mini edits of three episodes, which will be shown on the Land Rover website and Go Beyond TV, Land Rover’s broadband channel.

In August, Land Rover announced a four-year sponsorship agreement with both Premier Rugby and the Rugby Football Union (pictured). The agreement includes the launch of a new, countrywide grass roots tournament called the Land Rover Premiership Cup.
