Marks & Spencer is launching a Christmas television campaign with a slew of celebrities, including 1990s boyband Take That, as well as well-established M&S celebrities Twiggy, Erin O’Connor, Myleene Klass, Lily Cole and Noemie Lenoir.
The ad, created by RKCR/Y&R, features the celebrities enjoying traditional Christmas fun, such as mince pies, board games, snowball fights, mistletoe kisses and swapping gifts. The classic Christmas song Winter Wonderland features as the accompanying soundtrack.
Breaking today (Wednesday), the execution is set in a traditional home, with family and friends preparing for Christmas and exchanging presents that include a telescope, a watch, a scarf and lingerie. The ads will also be supported by in-store activity. An extended version of the ad will run on the M&S website.
