Visa appoints former Levis marketing chief

Visa Europe has appointed former Levis marketing chief Colin Clarke to senior vice president of brand management. Clark will take on the role imminently.

He will be responsible for all elements of brand across Europe through all communications channels, including advertising, promotions and online.

Mariano Dima, Visa Europe executive vice president of marketing, says Clarke’s appointment will help to “reinforce the Visa brand as integral to people’s lives”.

Clark was previously director of consumer marketing at Levis Europe, where he was responsible for pan-European development, and the delivery of all communication programmes.

Prior to that, he was global head of advertising at Vodafone and was responsible for brand, consumer and business campaigns across 32 countries. During his time at Vodafone, he launched the “Make the Most of Now” campaign.

Clark also spent seven years as board account director and managing director at Leagas Delaney.
