Hachette Filipacchi is selling its home and interiors magazine Real Homes to Centaur Special Interest Media (CSIM), part of the Centaur Media group which publishes Marketing Week magazine. The acquisition is expected to be completed this month.
CSIM’s agreement to purchase the monthly magazine for an undisclosed sum is subject to the completion of the employee consultation process affecting the title’s ten staff.
Hachette’s final edition of the magazine will be the February issue.
Hachette Filipacchi UK, a subsidiary of LagardÀre Active, publishes seven consumer magazines, including Psychologies, Red, Elle and soap celebrity titles Inside Soap and All About Soap.
Business-to-business publisher Centaur Media also has titles including New Media Age, Design Week and The Lawyer. CSIM already publishes three other monthly home interest titles – Homebuilding and Renovating, Period Living and Move or Improve?
