Chemistry Communications has been appointed to handle the pan-European customer relationship management account for Kraft’s gourmet coffee maker, Tassimo. The agency won the business following a pitch against the incumbent, Wunderman, and several other undisclosed agencies.
The agency will start work in mid-February, and will focus on driving sales in the UK, France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
It will create CRM campaigns, pushing Tassimo’s relationships with Kraft’s hot drink brands that are used in the machine.
Tassimo launched in the UK in January 2005, and makes Kraft’s range of Kenco ground coffees, as well as Twinings tea and Suchard hot chocolate. It competes with Nestlé’s Nespresso system.
