Kenya Airways launches TV ad on BBC World News

Kenya Airways is launching a TV ad campaign on BBC World News for the first time. The ads aim to promote “modern Kenya” to international travellers.

The campaign, which has been created by the in-house team at BBC Worldwide, will break on Christmas Eve. It will also show the airline’s fleet and cabin crew in a bid to promote the national carrier.

There are two 60-second executions, which will be broadcast across Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific and South Asia exclusively on the channel. The first spot run until January 16 and the second execution will launch in February 2009.

Dick Omondi, head of marketing and corporate communications, Kenya Airways, says that the campaign will demonstrate the carrier’s aircrafts and luxurious facilities.
