Airmiles has extended the role of director of mileage partnership Andrea Burchett to include marketing. She will take on the marketing remit from Sarah Wood, who is leaving to join Waitrose.
In her new role of director of relationship marketing and insight, Burchett will existing marketing, mileage partnerships and insight teams
Before joining Airmiles, Burchett was the head of customer knowledge and communications at AMP UK. Previously, she has held marketing titles at Pearl Assurance and Affinity Marketing.
Meanwhile, Wood is joining retailer Waitrose as its head of marketing communications in January. Wood, who has been with Airmiles for three years, was promoted to her current role; director of marketing and insight, in February 2007 after Airmiles merged its marketing and insight teams.
