Hipp Organic appoints Spinnaker

Hipp Organic, the organic baby food company, has appointed Spinnaker to handle the direct marketing for its full product range. The agency pitched against EHS Brann Cirencester and WDMP.

The company called the review, which was overseen by the AAR, in a bid to drive awareness of the brand. It did not have an incumbent agency.

Hipp’s range of products for babies and toddlers includes breakfast meals, desserts and drinks suitable from the start of weaning to 15 months old. The company launched in the UK in 1995.

Its products contain certified organic ingredients, and do not use artificial colours or preservatives, antibiotics or growth-promoting hormones, harmful pesticides, while also using free-range meat.

Its products are available in major chains including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morissons, Asda, Boots and Superdrug.
