Taylor will oversee the company’s extensive PR, online and advertising activities and head up the Transform marketing team.

He will also work closely with the company’s four Manchester-based media agencies in an effort “to ensure Transform remains the most prominent and innovative cosmetic surgery group.”

Taylor says: “My primary aims are to broaden Transform’s appeal to a wider audience and take advantage of the explosion in interest in cosmetic surgery, grow the company’s non-surgical business and review the company’s direct marketing strategy.”

Transform’s chief operations officer, Pat Dunion, adds: “Steven’s wealth of experience in the marketing sector means he’s more than equipped to lead Transform’s marketing strategy and ensure we remain the market leader in our sector”

Taylor was marketing director at Premier Resorts, a sales and marketing agency focussing on the overseas property sector, from 2003 until 2009.

According to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the UK experienced a 5% increase in demand from 2007 to 2008, and a 9% increase from 2008 to 2009 and is worth a total market value of £536m.
