Dune creates head of marketing role
Footwear retail chain Dune is hunting for its first head of marketing following the acquisition of the Shoe Studio in March after the latter fell into administration as part of the Mosaic Group.
The company plans to put more focus on marketing when the role is filled. The new recruit will be responsible for the evolution of the brand’s marketing strategy in the UK and raising awareness of the company’s other footwear brands, Bertie and Pied A Terre.
Dune took control of 300 concessions when the retailer collapsed adding to its existing portfolio of 42 UK stores and 40 concessions
The retailer also operates 12 stores under license in the Middle East and Russia.
Sales at the company have grown around have grown by in excess of 20% in each of the past five years.
