The low cost airline is placing ads across the national press with the copy line “Why risk BA? Easyjet has over 500,000 ways to help!”

BA’s cabin crew plans to take strike action over four separate periods in the next four weeks. Action is scheduled to begin on 18 ay.

BA says that not all flights will be cancelled in the case of a strike. It plans to operate all flights to and from London City and London Gatwick while at Heathrow it hopes to operate a substantial part of the long haul schedule and there will be a number of flights to every destination across the short haul network.
The easyJet ads have been devised by Publicis and repeat the offer from the last strike of speedy boarding for BA Gold Card customers.
GMG chief executive Carolyn McCall is to join easyJet in the same role at the start of July.
