Peugeot prepares cosmetic surgery themed DM pack

Peugeot has developed a direct mail pack wrapped in bandages to promote the “cosmetic enhancements” made to its 207 range.

The mailer comes in surgical crepe bandages, an allusion to the work undertaken on the Peugeot 207 range.

The bandages unwind to reveal a brochure that details the new enhancements to the 207.

The cosmetic surgery theme continues inside by using language such as: “we’ve had a little work done”, “we’ve even added implants’” and “more than just cosmetic enhancement”.

A letter within the pack encourages recipients to book a test drive or to contact their local dealer for more information.

Helen Main, direct marketing manager at Peugeot says it is hoped the mailer will “appeal to all the different types of people we are communicating with”

The pack was created by CMW and drops from mid September.

New Peugeot 207 include front and rear restyling and a number of technology enhancements including a USB socket and integrated Bluetooth hands-free.
