Volvo adds EHS 4D Cirencester to roster ahead of potential sale

Volvo has added direct marketing agency EHS 4D Cirencester to its roster of global agencies, ahead of closing negotiations for the brand to be sold.

The agency claims it has been appointed following the success of its previous work with Volvo Car Corporation on a CRM strategy and planning, and its work for Volvo Car UK.

The car marque is widely expected to be sold by parent company Ford to Chinese manufacturer Geely later this month for $1.8bn (£1.2bn). Ford has been in negotiations since December.

The agency will be responsible for producing the below-the-line CRM assets. EHS 4D Cirencester has already started work on the toolkit for the forthcoming launch of the all-new Volvo S60.

Launching later this year, the campaign will be available on Volvo’s central marketing hub to facilitate marketing the car. The project will provide a suite of assets including direct mail and email templates to nurture prospects, along with recommendations for how these should be used.

Martin Persson, global CRM manager at Volvo, says: “EHS 4D’s proven track record for delivering successful campaigns in the UK is very impressive. We are looking forward to working with them on global projects moving forwards.”

David Williams, managing director and client partner at EHS 4D Cirencester, adds: “It is a fantastic achievement for the group to have the opportunity to work on global projects.”

The EHS Brann Group was recently renamed as EHS 4D Group.
