The agency will work with William Hill’s marketing division to streamline its direct marketing capabilities, covering areas such as customer statements and internal communications.

The contract was awarded to Communisis following a competitive tender process and the agreement will run for three years effective this month.

It will manage the sourcing, procurement and distribution of print for William Hill customer marketing activity, as well as offering tailored technology-led consulting services.

Adam Harris, William Hill head of group marketing, says: “Communisis can clearly help us in many ways, including improved commercial postal arrangements, VAT advice and leading technology solutions – which will add significant value right across our businesses.”

The gaming company boosted its marketing spend by 106% in the first half of the year to £28.3m.

It operates about 2,300 betting shops across the UK and Ireland.
