Whyte & Mackay appoints new marketing director
Whyte & Mackay has appointed Beam Global Spirits & Wine marketer Nick Garland to the role of global sales and marketing director. He replaces Alok Gupta, who have moved to a role at parent company United Spirits.
Whyte & Mackay has appointed Beam Global Spirits & Wine marketer Nick Garland to the role of global sales and marketing director. He replaces Alok Gupta, who have moved to a role at parent company United Spirits.
He will oversee brands such as Vladivar vodka, the Whyte & MacKay blended whisky and malt whisky The Isle of Jura.
Garland was previously vice president of global marketing at Beam Global Spirits & Wine. The company, previously known as Jim Beam Global Brands, changes its known following the acquisition of a number of brands from Allied Domecq, which was later taken over by Pernod Ricard.
Garland is a former Diageo marketer and also spent eight years with Gillette in the UK.
