The Arts Council England reveals 16-agency roster

The Arts Council England has created a 16-strong roster of brand design and marketing agencies following a tender process. The organisation says it was looking for agencies that could help it “represent the creativity of the arts, artists and arts organisations”.

It has appointed 23 Red, GBH, Intro, Love Creative and The Team Branded to its marketing and design roster, while 999 Design, Andrew Clare, Blast, Blue River, Cog Design, Crush, Hoop Associates, Intro, Mar& Anna, Music and Studio Output have all been placed on its marketing communications roster.

In November, the Council appointed created a four-strong digital roster also following a tender process. It appointed Preloaded, Cogapp, Deconstruct and Net Efficiency to work on projects. Preloaded, the London-based agency, was appointed specifically to redevelop its corporate website.

The Arts Council England was created in 1994 to support a variety of artistic activities, including theatre, music, literature, dance and photography. It plans to invest £1.3bn of public money and £3m of lottery money into artistic experiences over the three years.
