Yorkshire Water launches digital campaign

Yorkshire Water is launching a digital campaign following a complete redesign of its website.

yorkshire_water_logoThe new site, which was redesigned by online specialist agency Swamp, also promotes the recreational activities available on the land and reservoirs Yorkshire Water owns.

The utility company owns large swathes of land in the region and activities include water sports, cycling, walking and wildlife watching.

The website will allow users to conduct postcode searches, which will display which leisure facilities are available within a 20 kilometre radius of the search. Another search facility will enable users to view roadworks and incidents, plotted onto Google maps.

Blog and message boards allow users to submit content to the site and sign up to page subscriptions. Recruitment pages feature blogs from Yorkshire Water employees. Customers will also be able to report leaks and inform the water supplier of changes in address.
