Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/ Y&R has been appointed by Ovarian Cancer Action to develop a campaign for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in March.
The agency has a brief to create a TV and press campaign that will run during the month and aims to help raise funds for research into ovarian care. There will also be below-the-line activity, including digital work.
Peter Reynolds, chief executive of the charity, says he wants to echo the success of previous campaigns by RKCR for breast cancer awareness. “I was very impressed with the work RKCR produced for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and wanted them to create some buzz around the excellent work undertaken by Ovarian Cancer Action.”
Richard Exon, chief executive of RKCR/Y&R, says: “It’s important that proactive charities like Ovarian Cancer Action have the best campaigning tools available to them.”
